Information pages
An important function of this web site is to provide information. We currently have the following unique sources of information on-line:
- Three tables offering details of raw materials suppliers for the polyurethane industry. The tables list suppliers for:
- A table of theTop 50 worldwide tyre makers is now on-line, using information from the 1996 Global Tyre report. An updated table is available in this year's edition. (17KB).
- A diary listing essential events for the rubber and polyurethane industries, together with some of more general interest. This is more comprehensive than the diaries that appear in the magazines, and is able to include notices that reach us after our print deadlines. (size varies - approx 22KB)
- A contact list of tyre manufacturers. This doesn't list every tyre plant in the world, but does contain details for every manufacturer we know of. (48KB)
- A list of DOT codes for the world's tyre manufacturing plants. (65KB)
These pages are updated regularly, as new information is received. Suggestions for new pages are welcome.
We are also looking at the possibility of making Acrobat PDF files available, and would appreciate feedback as to how useful these might be. As well as the kinds of free general information pages listed above, these might also include a 'subscribers-only' database of articles from the magazines.
Our whole site is currently being redesigned, so if you have any comments and suggestions on subjects you would like to see covered, or on any other aspect of this web site, please email us, or contact us at the address below.
Using this site
We are always looking for ways to make this site easier to navigate. Our site map lists most of our pages, and breaks them down into groups, with individual links to take you straight to what you're looking for.
Our pages and navigation buttons should work with any browser that recognises tables, but if you experience problems with any aspect of this site, please send us an e-mail stating briefly what the problem is, with as much detail as possible about the type and version of browser you use, your system software, monitor size and computer type, etc. This kind of information helps us to anticipate the kinds of bugs that may arise, and to plan our pages for maximum ease of use for all visitors.
